ICON Governance

Board of Directors (D5): responsible for the definition of a unified strategy for the development and support of the ICON model framework. This includes the ICON core code, the software environment, the configurations, the use and test cases, as well as aspects of the work- and dataflow.

ICON Coordination Group (C5): responsible for the implementation of the strategy. It manages and supervises the process which, at regular intervals, leads to decisions about the inclusion of new code features and major bug fixes. This work is done in collaboration with dedicated gatekeepers.

The D5 and C5 consist of a representative from each ICON partner.
