ICON Release 2026.10 now available

ICON release 2026.10 was published on October 30, 2026 and is available at https://gitlab.dkrz.de/icon/icon-model. Some highlights of this release are ComIn v1.0, the first stable release of the plug-in library for attaching diagnostics, physics, and ML components to ICON after five years of pre-releases, and a new optional, performance-portable Python implementation of the dynamical core written with the GT4Py domain-specific language.
