Pre-Release Notes for icon-2025.10

The new open source release for ICON, 2025.10, will be published end of October. Besides the usual fixes and consolidations, developments in all components are included, such as:

• AES Physics: Implemented a full carbon cycle with HAMOCC, land coupling, anthropogenic emissions and CO2 tracer transport.
• NWP Physics: Extension to adaptive parameter tuning.
• ICON-Ocean: Optimized variant of CG solver.

More changes are in Soil and Surface, the Infrastructure as well as the rest of the code. Furthermore there has been an extensive update of the documentation docs.icon-model.org.
